Many well-documented reports over the last few years have brought the need for comprehensive STEAM education – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics – into clear focus for educators at all levels. Today, an understanding of scientific and mathematical principles and the problem-solving skills developed through integrated STEAM curricula are necessary for most jobs. NextGen International Coding and Technology School and College will be the first school of Bangladesh. We are committed to disrupting the status quo of inequitable access to high quality STEAM pathways for children through collaboration, innovation, passion and perseverance. We will emphasize the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of each child and strive to instill high standards for academic integrity and leadership in our students. Through our programs, students will be given the technology, skills, and knowledge to be effective members of our school community and a global society. We are committed to doing all we can to make our institution a place for every student to learn, explore and grow. Critical thinking, character, teamwork abilities and a strong desire to learn how we can shape the world of the future can be a stunning formula to current students to open the doors to success. We hope tools like ours to be the road for the students’ success in the near future. We aim to be a valuable instrument to shape their future. May they make this world a better place. Best regards and thanks.

Science and Technology have, over the last 50 years, become a major part of society and our individual lives. The world is rapidly changing, and it is widely acknowledged that in 21st century and beyond, citizens and workers will increasingly require skills that many school-leavers and graduates don’t currently possess. STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration and work through the creative process. We don’t need children to memorize random facts anymore. Education is no longer about memorizing facts. Instead it is about learning how to think critically and evaluate information, how to apply knowledge, research and skills to problem solving. Skills need to be taught in an applied way, as part of a greater whole, rather than the traditional approach of individual subject silos. Kids who receive STEAM education will be better prepared to face real life problems with more creativity, critical thinking and effectiveness. So, STEAM is not only about technology, coding and robotics, but also about the amazing heights we could reach if we use those items in a smart and focused way. Best regards and thanks.

The world is making rapid stride, thanks to the blessings of science and technology. As a result, stiff competition is prevailing everywhere, making it imperative for every learner to be well-equipped with 21st century skills. Currently, students are being introduced to the most modern teaching methodology- STEAM- based education. In fact, STEAM is a new approach of academic studies which incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics. As the jobs are now interdisciplinary, we need to educate children in how different subjects integrate and work together. To keep pace with the changing global scenario, learners need to develop diverse skills and exploration for growth. Instead of memorizing facts, they must develop critical thinking and problem solving abilities. STEAM can save our kids too by making their future bright. STEAM jobs are expected to grow by 16% in the US between 2014 and 2024 compared to only 11% for other sectors. And right now, science & engineering careers earn more than double the income of the median job in the United States. So start with the young and let’s work together to get more STEAM education into elementary schools because without improving STEAM education in our schools, the Bangladesh is going to fall behind in the global technology race. And with that goes the potential for our children’s future.
